Education and Background

Oran Kivity graduated in 1987 from the International College of Oriental Medicine in the UK after a three-year full-time course.  He ran a successful acupuncture practice in London from 1987 to 2004 and completed further postgraduate studies of acupuncture in Europe, China and Japan.

Oran taught acupuncture at Westminster University in London from 1994 to 2004 and was a founder member of Toyohari UK, the British branch of the respected Toyohari Association of Japan.

In 2005 he relocated to Kuala Lumpur and joined the Federation of Chinese Physicians and Acupuncture Associations of Malaysia (FCPAAM). Oran remains a registered Toyohari practitioner, and an overseas member of the British Acupuncture Council. He abides by the British Acupuncture Council Code of Ethics and Safe Practice.
