Local Media Reports on Fund Raising Events

The Sri Lanka Tsunami Relief Project and its fund raising efforts in August and September, 2006 have attracted attention from local media, including The Star and TV Channel NTV7. Oran Kivity was interviewed on the Breakfast Show on 15 September. During the half-hour live segment he gave acupuncture to one of the hosts which received an enthusiastic response.

Newspaper The Star also gave a full page report on its web site, pointing out the involvement of Malaysian alternative healers in this project.

Fund raising for the Tsunami Relief Project continued until the last minute. The last fund raising event was held at Frangipani bar in  Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 22nd September, the eve of the mission.
