Sri Lanka Tsunami Relief, 2006

On October 1st 2006 a group of nine acupuncture and massage practitioners started a two-weeks’ charity work in the Southern village of KirInda in Sri Lanka. Led by Oran Kivity, the group’s main purpose is giving free treatments to the victims of Tsunami and their families, particularly to children.

During their two week’s mission, over 1,100 people have been treated. Many of them have been suffered from the trauma over the years and their symptoms relieved after treatment. Here are some photos of the mission. For more details, please go to Articles category, look for Tsunami Relief Report.
